Oval dish or bread/fruit basket in silver plated metal.
Hallmark of the silversmith: V and S. Victor SAGLIER.
Flat two arched handles. Typical Art Nouveau style, ca. 19th century, France. The dish is decorated with leaves, hop fruits and Art Nouveau lines surrounding the oval center. The basket rests on four open support legs.
Very good practical size.
In good condition with no damage. In places the plate is worn and the brass color is visible underneath. To see the photo.
