Verreries Doyen – Large Art Deco vase – Floralies series
Beautiful Art Deco vase from the 1930s made by the Verreries Gobeleteries Doyen from Havré-Ville, Belgium for their Floralies series.
The vase is executed in an exceptional blue color (blue petrol), is optically blown and has a serrated edge. The shape is typical of the Floralies production and is depicted on plate 126 of the Doyen catalog from the interwar period. This specimen measures approx. 30 cm high.
Considering its age, the vase is in very good used condition with some light scratches on the outside and limited signs of wear on the inside. Small enclosed glass bubbles are normal for the production process at that time.
