A quarto volume (330x260 mm), pages in an illustrated cardboard folder. The shirt has browned a bit. The sheets are in perfect condition, without any stains or foxing. Some uncut pages. Very good condition of the shirt (slight tear on the lower part of the back).

Oflag II-D was a POW camp during World War II located at Westfalenhorf in Prussian Pomerania. Inaugurated in 1939, the camp welcomed Polish soldiers and French officers from June 1940 to May 1942.

Oflag II D Block IV 1940 is a work alternating poems by former prisoners and color illustrations depicting the difficult daily life in the camp.
