Nominated work for the international art fair in Barcelona FIABCN 2022
The work has a double message.
On the one hand, the simple visual where the viewer sees a face that is drowning on a background of money that confirms the title.
On the other hand, the deeper message: The more money, the more problems. A man who tries not to drown in a pile of money, hand and mouth wide open to find salvation in spite of the money.
However, the background of dollar bills does not save him.
With a lot of money comes a lot of problems.
The work was made in 20 copies, a beautiful background of dollars in a passe partout on which the hands and face come out of the work in 3D.
The whole is in a black wooden frame of 50/50.
