The antique Victorian gold earrings are made of 585 = 14 carat yellow gold and are partially hallmarked.
I have given them to the master goldsmith to be checked professionally and he confirms that both the earrings and the suspensions are made of 14 carat yellow gold.
The earrings are equipped with clip-on ear hooks for hanging on the front and are set with satin-finished black jet boutons. Beneath this are multi-sectioned ovals with engraved gold blossoms on a black enamel background and, at the end, a free-swinging small gold sphere.
Size of the jet boutons approx. 7.8 mm in diameter.
Antique goldsmith production in very good, worn and well-kept condition. Rarely preserved from this period.
Will be shipped in a new jewelry case/bag.
