August Walther & Sohne and Scailmont – Art Deco Vase 'Luxor'
Art deco vase, model "Luxor", produced by August Walther & Sohne AG Dresden in 1936. Collaboration with the Belgian glass company Scailmont hence the marking "BELGE" on the bottom. This design, in transparent pressed glass, was executed in different colours. Here in the popular amber (jaune) color.
The vase is in excellent condition with only normal to minor signs of age. Small enclosed glass bubbles and glass threads are normal for the production process at that time.
