The relief for sale comes from the private collection/ estate of the sculptor Hans Retzbach. (May 29, 1887 Ellwangen – March 2, 1976 Stuttgart) It is made of plaster. Condition see pictures.

Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart (master class Prof. von Donndorf). Afterwards (1920s) lecturer in sculpture. He created countless Christian objects (figures of Mary, crucified, bell reliefs -1957 Ringing Catholic parish St. Eberhard Stgt.), as well as numerous war memorials and bronze busts/portraits of personalities (including Porsche, Grillo, Maybach, Hitler,..)
