Very beautiful modernist lamp in hammered metal signed P.POMMIER
It is surmounted by a magnificent tulip in glass paste with the inclusion of the technical multicolored enamel powder typical of the glassmaker Jean NOVERDY of Dijon (around 1930).

Establishments Jean NOVERDY (around 1925)
He created his establishment around 1920 in Dijon. A pupil of the sculptor and jeweler Henri Dubret (1872-1947), he produced pressed molded glass luminaires with bronze or other metal frames, but also table lamps, chandeliers, basins, wall lamps with clean and stylized lines in Art Deco characteristics. .

Jean Noverdy will produce pieces typical of the 1920s/1930s in the technique with bright colors imprisoning multicolored or smoked enamel powder.

The bronze medal will be awarded to the Noverdy establishments in 1929, at the exhibition of the Society of Friends of the Arts of the Côte d'Or for 2 acid-etched glass vases.
