JOS VERHEUGEN, a Dutch painter in Paris

From the series "Free after Mondrian":
Mondrian with Iguana

Like his famous predecessor Piet Mondrian, Jos Verheugen has Dutch roots. However, unlike Mondrian, his artwork is purely figurative. In his series "Free after Mondrian" Verheugen transforms the abstract compositions of his compatriot by adding figurative elements, animals and voluptuous women in particular, which creates a third dimension in Mondrian's two-dimensional paintings. The paintings are framed by the artist himself in a Mondrian-like style to preserve Mondrian's "neoplastic" aesthetics.

The indicated dimensions include the frame. The item will be sent straight from the workplace of the artist to the buyer, the parcel includes an invoice (also document of authenticity). 67484707
