Printing of the text in the studio of M. Jacquet, colors of the illustrations engraved by Raymond Jacquet assisted by J.-C. Jaccard. The "editor" binding was designed by Sylvain Robin and executed by Reliure d'Art au Poinçon d'Or.

Superb full pink shagreen leather binding with wide corner, spine with 5 thick raised bands, leather pieces between the raised bands, gilt title and volume number. Stencil-enhanced dishes.
Minimal and inconsequential rubbing from use, spine slightly insolated but evenly, bindings in very good condition, close to new. Clean and fresh interior with rose marbled endpapers. Very nice color illustrations inset by R.-W. Thomas, engraved by Raymond Jacquet.
Edition limited to 2750 copies on vellum chiffon de Rives, our copy bears the No. 1177.
