Extremely rare set of birch wood De Stijl bookends for Metz & Co and marked as such. This set was sold in 1931 at the famous Amsterdam department store. The designer is not officially known, but it was presented in the line of Elmar Berkovich, given the use of color and design, I would also dare to attribute this to that.
The set is as good as unused, in museum mint condition.
