Johann Georg Bergmüller (1688-1762)
Painter and engraver and art-theorist; born Türkheim 1688; worked at the Pfalz court; settled in Augsburg 1713. Director of the Academy of Art in Augsburg from 1730; court painter 1739; died in Augsburg 1762.
