Beautiful drawing in bright colours, very good condition (small dent on cardboard top right outside the drawing).
After the Second World War, Bert Bus (1931 - 2017) started working as an illustrator at the Spaarnestad publishing house for the magazines Sjors and Eppo. In 1965 he made some cartoons in this style for Sjors, such as 'Humpie Hunebed' (1965).
In addition, Bert Bus became well known with 'Archie the man of steel', but he was also the artist of 'Olaf Noord', Cliff Rendall, Lance Barton, Stef Ardoba, Malorix and Russ Bender.
In 2004, together with Harry Balm and Nico van Dam, he was awarded the Bulletje & Boonespaal for his contributions to the basis of Dutch comics. 67318207
