Framed with a pass-partout in a baroque golden wooden frame in the format 500 x 400 mm.
Caption:
This picture is considered to be the trigger for the “Langentenbach scandal”. Erpel is sentenced to 24 days in prison for kidnapping a young girl. This accusation cannot be sustained. Nevertheless, the court confiscated 125 drawings.
This original pencil drawing forms the draft for the poster for the DUCKOMENTA exhibition in 2000 at the Kunsthalle Rotterdam. The design was also implemented in color by the artist Ommo Wille. The DUCKOMENTA motif, which has become known as the “Schiele duck”, has been presented in 53 museums since 2000, including:
