Catawiki’s goal is to make special objects universally available. Our weekly auctions feature thousands of unusual, rare, and exceptional objects you won’t find in just any store. Inspired by Baudelaire's poem, this work unifies the two visions of abstraction that I have developed up to now. It explores the relationships of the being with its environment through the interaction of the visual symbolic language and its title. It is painted with acrylic, ink and enamels to achieve a richness of textures that accentuate the character and consistency of the work. The image seeks visual balance and uses color as a catalyst that unifies the whole.

Kasai Massana (1975). I was born in Cuba where I studied at the National School of Art in Havana, my relationship with painting has been intermittent over the years. I have done mural work in Italy and Spain, the country where I currently reside. I like art that invites you to think but I also feel comfortable and really enjoy abstraction.

My works are in private collections in Spain, Italy, Mexico, France, Holland, Germany, Portugal, Belgium, Hong Kong, Switzerland, Greece and the United States.

The work will be sent professionally rolled in a tube by a transport company with a tracking number.
