HODGKINS William, self-taught English painter, was born in 1952. His pictorial preference is the representation of women and men. His colors are warm and attractive, the brushstroke is frank and the palette rich. He exhibits regularly in the United States at the Wenworth gallery in Miami. He has had personal exhibitions at the Menuisement gallery in Rouen, at the Etretat, at the Forum des arts in Juan les Pins, at the CEA in Paris…He has participated in group exhibitions, at the Abbaye de Talloires, La Réserve in Pessac, at the Château de Marcay, at the Couvent des Minimes in Lille…He has exhibited abroad at the Château d'Allaman in Switzerland, at the De Eik in Antwerp in Belgium, at the Novotel in New York in the United States and at the Wenworth Gallery in Miami in the United States…His recent exhibitions have taken place at the Slovenian Gallery in Copenhagen, at the French Art Gallery in Saint Martin, at the Bakelite Gallery in Paris, at the Blue Gallery in Stockholm and at the Gallery of Modern Art Matinal in Moscow, Russia. He regularly appears at the “Maison et object” in Paris in January 2018.
