A very beautiful book on "The Holy Land" written by Robert Hichens with many photos and illustrations in colour by Jules Guerin. Bound in orange cloth with vibrant gilt stamped lettering and deco, gilt top edge and deckled bottom and fore-edges. All pages are bright, clean and unmarked . Binding has wear around spine edges-see photos-, Hinges a bit fragiles but all pages attached and quite secure. Some shelwear and light wear around corners.
