His founding work notably inspired the writers of the “French Civil Code” known as the “Napoleon Code”.

Two beautiful volumes in12 (17x10 cm) in perfect condition, full leather binding, spine with 5 raised raised bands, gilded boxes, title and volume numbers on morocco leather, red edges, gilt fillet on cuts, marbled back covers.
Excellent condition on all criteria (covers, spine, corners, joints, caps.), Very fresh interior without any foxing.
