Antique gilded hand painted in pure gold, French, Empire style, Krater, Paris Porcelain vase 19th century. Monochrome.
Decorated with flowers and garlands. Handles with caryatid heads.
Limoges style.


CONDITION
Perfect - shows signs of age, Light wear consistent with age and use, has the classic metal screw to the base in an empire style tarnished by time.

Limoges: Limoges porcelain is a hard-paste porcelain produced since 1771 in various factories in the city of Limoges and in the Haute-Vienne department in general. Limoges had a tradition in the decorative arts as it had been the major European center of enamel production during the Middle Ages [1].
