Remy van Sluys was born (1907) in Berchem and died (1994) in Antwerp. He is a well-known Belgian impressionist (listed in lexicon “Piron” and “Arto”). Post-impressionist painter of landscapes, cityscapes, interiors, still lifes. Education at the Academy of Berchem, Antwerp (J.Creytens and F.Mortelmans) and Mechelen.
