A Manuscript Letter dated 29th March 1916 on monogrammed notepaper addressed to The Lord Mayor (of Liverpool).
The letter is composed and signed by Sarah Bernhardt, French Actress (1844-1932).
The letter thanks the Mayor for the welcome to the City and acknowledges the united efforts of France and England in the First World War.

The letter is in very good condition, no rips or tears and is clean; the envelope has a minor hole and light soiling.
