Johannes Blaeu (September 23, 1596 in Alkmaar – May 26, 1673) was a Dutch cartographer and publisher.
The Blaeu printing press, recognized in the field of cartography, was not limited to that, but it was also interested in the most diverse publications, including religious works (it began in 1619 by publishing classic texts in small format, well before Elzevir, although it was then still carried under the name of Willem Jansz)
