Antique Art Nouveau 14k Gold Amethyst Seed Pearl Clover Pin Brooch
Markings: "14k" and unidentified maker's mark (appears to be an "l" and a tree motif in a shield-shaped cartouche) on the back of the brooch, tested and guaranteed. Main Stone: Amethyst
Main stone dimensions/color: round cut: 2.5mm diameter, about 1.2mm depth, pear cut: 10.22mm length, 7.52mm width, 6.4mm depth. Color: semi-translucent purple hue

Condition: Age appropriate wear. Two seed pearls are missing from the brooch, these can be replaced by your local jeweller. The locking "c" shackle and pin shank appears to be a replacement from a previous owner, which has no bearing on wear. There is a very small chip on one of the round cut amethysts, but the stone remains firmly in place and this does not affect wear. The original pin shank and hinge remain on the back of the brooch; this can be removed by your local jeweler.
