Catawiki’s goal is to make special objects universally available. Our weekly auctions feature thousands of unusual, rare, and exceptional objects you won’t find in just any store. The famous jewelry manufacturer "Perli" from Schwäbisch Gmünd was founded in 1922/23 by Martha May. Martha May studied at the jewelry technical school in Schwäbisch Gmünd and taught in the years 1935-36 at the famous art college at Burg Giebichenstein near Halle. Her designs, in which she also liked to include other materials such as wood, glass beads, felt or enamel, brought the company a silver medal at the 1937 World Exhibition in Paris. The excellent design is still appreciated by jewelery lovers and collectors today.

Magnificent, richly pierced bracelet from the Modernism / Brutalism period. Ring-shaped links cast in solid silver with a rough surface, decorated with rings, spheres, pearls and amethysts on the inside. Snap closure with safety chain. Marked, made by the famous German jewelery manufacturer Perli in Schwäbisch Gmünd, 1960s. 67561481
