in-4 (with signatures. in-8), ff. (16), 368 (i.e. 370, 2 ff. n.n. between 156 and 157). Leg. coeval in p.cuoio, decorated with borders and geometric friezes embossed on the plates (restorations and back formerly redone). Title in red and black with large printer's brand (monogram and fantastic animals on criblé ground), fine figure silogr. on 1/3 of the page at the beginning of the text (f. I) depicting the writing author, hundreds of decorated or historiated drop caps. The text is preceded by 16 ff. of indices. Valuable and rare edition of the Summa, a very useful work for confessors and moralists, hated by Luther and by him in 1520 burned in the public square. Famous theological text by Blessed Angelo Carletti from Chivasso, which had enormous fame in the 15th and 16th centuries; Carletti, a Franciscan theologian, blessed, was born in 1411 and died in 1495 in the convent of Cuneo, where his remains are still preserved and venerated. (Tear in the white margin of the first f., another tear in the margin of the second with loss of four letters of text. Damp mark at the beginning and at the end of the volume; old titular stamp).
