1955 Renault Colorale, "chassis-cab" version, 2L engine producing 58 hp, 88,695 km on the odometer.
In the 1950s, there were 7 versions of this model in this "chassis-cab" version used by French farmers - an old, rural and charming symbol of the time.
The ideal truck to relive the farmers' glory or enact the life in the countryside from a French film.
The listed model had been equipped with a wooden box which has been completely rebuilt.
A heavy-duty vehicle designed for farmers; in its second life it became a tow truck.
This listed model has been completely disassembled, sanded, coated and painted and has been restored to its original green colour.
All mechanical wear parts have been replaced, the bench seat has been refurbished by a upholsterer.
The engine is in good condition and has been overhauled.
There is a small scratch on the bonnet (see photo).
The mirror on the fender is not an original part.
The vehicle's driving characteristics are typical of the 1950s.
