Ramón de Capmany I Montaner (1899-1992) Catalan painter and engraver trained at the Llotja in Barcelona. He was a disciple of the painter Francesç Labarta.
Framed within the group "The Evolutionists", a group that rejected the classical academic orders. They were influenced by Cezanne and the Fauves.
He was a landscape painter from Montseny and the old part of Barcelona in the naturalist style.
Some of his works can be found at the Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Art and at the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum. 67658227
