Old hand mirrors - Hairdresser models - Napoleon III and Art Nouveau period
Charming duo of large old hand mirrors of the "Hairdresser" type.
One of the models is an ebony and bevelled glass mirror, dating from the Napoleon III period. The piece is in a good general state of preservation, the mirror is intact, but with some age stains (see photos). Dimensions: approximately 26 cm high x 10 cm wide.
The other model is in embossed silver metal with raised floral decorations, in the Art Nouveau style and period (date between the end of the 1800s and the beginning of the 1900s). The piece is very elegant, with a beautiful beveled mirror in a good state of conservation. We observe, however, on the silver metal part, that at the level of the contour of the mirror, that it is a little dented and that the side weld has opened in places (see photos). Dimensions: approximately 24 cm high x 13 cm wide.
