Boudewijn Maria Ignatius Büch (The Hague, December 14, 1948 – Amsterdam, November 23, 2002) was a Dutch poet, writer, bibliophile, collector and television presenter.
As a writer, Büch was best known for De kleine blond dood (1985). Since 1985, more than thirty editions of the book have appeared. The novel was filmed in 1993 by Jean van de Velde. As a television presenter, he made various programs about literature and travel programs under the title De wereld van Boudewijn Büch. As a media personality, Büch became a well-known and enthusiastic, albeit not uncontroversial, culture popularizer.
He created fictional versions of his life, such as about his origin, education, work and a fictional son, not only in his novels but also with lying in interviews and to friends. Some friends realized this, but did not confront him about it (also because he sometimes abruptly broke off long pleasant contacts by contradiction), they took it for granted. (cf. Wikipedia) 67415843
