The Golden Book of the Italian nobility was an official register of the Kingdom of Italy containing the list of families who were registered with provisions of pardon and justice. Each family was dealt with in one or more pages, in which the country of origin, habitual residence of the family, noble titles and attributions with indications of origin and transferability, royal and governmental provisions, description of the coat of arms and part of the documented genealogy were annotated.
Indexpp. CXII, 1200. With coats of arms engraved in the text and on tipped-in plates, some of which in chromolithography. Publisher's binding in cloth with friezes and titles in gold. In good condition, some shading and light signs of wear on the cover.
