Wouter van Donselaar, born on April 14, 1979, in Warnsveld. Lives in Deventer and also has my studio there.
I build up my paintings from various layers and with different materials. One layer opaque, the other transparent, which should ensure that the observer does not only look at the superficial.
The works define themselves as mixed media artworks.
That means a combination of various techniques and different materials. Paper, linen, wood and fabrics find their place on the canvas.
Photography, collage art, painting, computer processing, drawing and prints come together to 1 result.
Compositions are created by feeling, which are clear, strong and sometimes
seem playful.
