Beautiful snowy landscape by the painter Lucia Crotti (1870-1960).
Lucia Crotti, after attending the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan, arrived on the Ligurian Riviera in the early years of the century where, in Latte, she had her first contacts with the cultural circle of the Hanburys.
In 1930 he settled in Bordighera.
His painting, characterized by rich and full-bodied chromatic mixtures, has a remarkable dynamic tension.
In 1906 he exhibited two paintings L'alba and Il lago del Cenisio at the National Exhibition of Fine Arts in Milan; in 1907 Impressione and Al Sempione at the LX Exhibition Società Promotrice di Belle Arti in Florence; in 1908 In the high mountains at the Società Promotrice di Belle Arti in Genoa, which he attended from 1901 to 1917.
He took part in the Brera National Art Exhibition in 1916 with the painting Primavera.
Other exhibitions in Turin and in France.
