Beautiful sculpture by J. Guillot after the example of the French artist Emile Bruchon (1806-1895) from the late 19th century. The sculpture is provided with a plaque with the title of the sculpture and the name Bruchon. The statue bears the signature Guillot on the foot of the statue.
Emile Bruchon was a pupil of the famous French sculptor Mathurin Moreau and made both sculptures and decorative objects, executed in bronze and régule.
The sculpture stands on a wooden pedestal with a bronze/brass decorative edge.
