'Vocal Torren Tornen - unmeant fend' is a project that was made on only one copy. The original object is composed of nineteen numbered cahiers. This is a collection of 13 cahiers in a separate edition. Each cahier consists of two poems from 'Tears for Coltrane' by J.M.H. Berckmans and each time an erotic/pornographic painting by Hugo Van Goethem, Antwerp artist & friend of Berckmans. The paintings are originally in acrylic and vary in size. Berckmans would write texts for it. That never happened again.
In this booklet there are 13 beautiful reproductions. The colophon also mentions one Detlev S. Steiner. He was kind enough to complete the story of this curious release: "Vocal Torren Tornen" (an anagram of "Tears for Coltrane") was once made to get through a boring Sunday. That must have been at least before 2012 - it is suspected around 2010 -. Originally, each of the combinations was put in a separate folder. A number of those folders were then abandoned at various cafes/places in Antwerp to be found and taken away. The booklet has the cover of the bundle Tears for Coltrane. The booklet contains 19 poems from Tears for Coltrane. 67230405
