Five original Thonet chairs n. 18, designed by Gebrüder Thonet in 1876. Thanks to the design of the paper labels and the stamps under the seat, it is possible to date the production of these specimens between 1881 and 1919.
The structure was built with a technology, innovative at the time, which exploited steam to soften and bend the beech wood, according to one's needs. The seat, on the other hand, is made of Vienna straw, recently restructured in all five chairs.
The chairs, despite having some signs of age-related wear, have built up a beautiful patina over the years and are perfectly usable.
