Charles Gerard
born in Antwerp. Studied at Lancaster School of Art, 1907-14, and Royal College of Art, 1917-22, under Robert Anning Bell and Gerald Moira. Exhibited RA, NEAC, Redfern Gallery and elsewhere, the City of Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery holding his work. Gerrard has also shown in North America, Italy and India, where he taught for a time and was official artistic adviser in Bombay. He was an expert in Indian art and iconography. Work has been published in The Studio and Color magazines. I lived in Denham, Buckinghamshire. 67346757
