Selling here is a nice example of Christian Dietrich Grabbe's 'Les Silènes'. Adapted from the German by Alfred Jarry. Music by Claude Terrasse. With a technical praise by Thiéri Foulc and Philippe Cathé. Les Silènes, complete text, and music by Terrasse are published here for the first time. Limited to 11 copies on Japon, this numbered 1. Bound in the original wraps and with the original advertisement slip from Collège de 'Pataphysique - for the 200 year anniversary of Christian Dietrich Grabbe's birth. No copies available online.

Condition: The binding has wear and light edge loss, bumping to head/tail and all four corners. Protected in the original glassine wrapper. Contents: Block coming loose from wraps. In good order, a little creasing with page edges rough. Largely un-cut. A nice example overall. Bookplate to pastedown. Please see our images for further description.
