Large original lithograph after a Cobra painting from 1949. La Rue transcribes human life in a childish drawing, and the bustle of the city in a joyful and luminous explosion of colors. What emerges from this is what Michel Ragon called "An abstract landscaping".

Work signed by the painter Guillaume Corneille (1922-2010), born in Liège to Dutch parents, founding member of the Cobra group.

Total dimensions: 54 x 68 cm - Atelier Corneille stamp on the back.

Numbered E/A 123/150 - Signed and dated in pencil by the artist in 2003 - Paper yellowed by time, otherwise very good condition for the image.
