The Porsche 911-997 was produced from 2005 to 2001 and is essentially a restyling of the 996 version (the first Porsche 911 with liquid cooling) while introducing some new engine features. The maximum expression of the 911-997 series was achieved by the 500 HP Porsche GT3 RS 4.0 presented in 2011 when the 911-991 series was introduced."
