Second edition (first: same printer 1566) of a vast treatise on military art and fortification. At the end of the book there is a copious chapter on the siege of Jerusalem made by Titus Vespasian, accompanied by a view of the besieged city. Adriano was a pupil of Giambattista Valle. Good copy (some notebooks with redness of the paper).
