These are pre-production models from the 1980s. Only a few of these hand-built models were manufactured by the Matchbox factory. These models were sent to the Dutch importer with a request for its opinion. These models are extremely rare. The models are from the estate of the Matchbox importer Passet from the 1980s and were the later SB-29 Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird and the SB-30 Grumman F-14 Tomcat. The underside of the models is still without text (see photos). The models are in excellent condition.
