Catawiki’s goal is to make special objects universally available. Our weekly auctions feature thousands of unusual, rare, and exceptional objects you won’t find in just any store. Aldo Damioli (Milan, 1952) is an artist who believes in the image and in its power of attraction and fascination on the viewer. This is why he defends it, even going against the tide at times, and exalts it beyond the ethical or philosophical contents that one wants to communicate, like Céline in literature for which what matters is the style and not the message. Damioli's production is divided into series, which are nothing but different chapters of his pictorial novel, in which, to represent a basic idea, the painter seeks the most appropriate language and style.

Beautiful work by Maestro Aldo Damioli with a total size in a frame of 68x53cm, including a white lacquered artisan frame handmade by master craftsmen.
