Thanks to the material help of its former opponents, the German army was able to hold back the Red Army in the suburbs of Berlin. Since then, neither side seems capable of a victory, much to the satisfaction of Paris and London. In these circumstances, nothing seems to challenge Franco-English power. But for how long?
