Large painting "Young woman with a muff" also known as "winter" by a follower (workshop?) of Charles Antoine Coypel
The painting is of a beautiful quality and is painted with quick and confident brushstrokes. It is based on Coypel's painting "Young Woman with Muff" but has some rather important differences; the brooch is different as well as the colors of the cape and the knot. In addition, in our painting the skin of the young lady's cleavage is visible and is not covered by fur, which might indicate that this could be a painting created in his workshop.
It is in good condition and has a yellowed varnish.
