Bram Mous was born in Breda (1979) and was trained as an editorial designer at the University of Utrecht. He also completed a law degree at the university. The recurring theme in his work is the consumer society, which has fascinated him since his youth. He calls himself a first child of Nintendo prosperity. The art of combining natural materials and consumer goods takes the viewer on his imaginative quest for the last level of prosperity.
This work is part of a series of eventually 100 works based on items from the 1980s - 1990s. At the same time, the work expresses the illusion that the objects have been excavated and arranged as archaeologists do. With detailed skill, the work radiates beautiful memories on the one hand, and a fixed image of transience on the other. 65718275
