Very rare edition of this text of Latin grammar and prosody. It is certainly one of the first books bearing Greek characters, in this copy present on the sixth last sheet, verso (''De Sillabis''), and on the last, recto (PROCTOR, The Printing of Greek in the XVth C., on p.43, fig.17, reproduces five lines with Greek text). At the time Leoniceno was director of Jenson's printing house in Venice.
Marginal copy, although lacking a dozen ff., of a very rare Paduan protoincunabulum, reinforcement on the upper margin of the first f. and to the lateral one of the last, very slight halo along the lower one. Ownership note Domini Jo.Jacobi Brixiani in the lower margin. of the title.
