GT movements stands for Gédéon Thommen who started manufacturing Swiss movements in 1853.
The family continued the tradition and currently Revue Thommen uses two hand assembled base models; RT12 and RT44, the 44 movement with an automatic self-winding mechanism becomes the RT54 and with small seconds the RT55.
