The book is intact even if it is affected by the wear of time. The cover is in fact curved and the pages are jagged. The hard cover is cream colored with gold lettering. On the inside of the cover there is a stamp with the writing Villa Norella Cadenabbia which is located in the province of Como. Inside the final cover there are two pencil writings 1300 and 90.
The poems are in English with the Ancient Greek titles in red. At the beginning there is also a depiction of the poetess Sappho.
