First edition of the important work, with a preface by André Breton to this beautiful edition of the Works of Lautréamont illustrated with 12 beautiful full-page compositions by surrealist painters: Victor Brauner, Oscar Dominguez, Max Ernst, Espinoza, René Magritte, André Masson, Matta Echaurren, Joan Miro, Wolfgang Paalen, Man Ray, Kurt Seligmann, Yves Tanguy.

Condition: The binding has wear and light edge loss, bumping to head/tail and all four corners. A few small nicks to head/tail of spine. Contents: In good order, toned. Blindstamp to corner of last leaf. A nice example overall. Please see our images for further description.
