Unique and original work by NOWART on canvas. 100 x 88 cm, Ode to Vincent van Gogh

Arnaud Rabier, stage name NOWART was born in 1968 in Blanc-Mesnil. He lives and works in Compiègne, near Paris. Noart is a visual artist who specializes in street art/graffiti, using different materials and techniques. Noart has participated in various exhibitions in recent years. In 1985 he makes his first street art objects on walls. After that, Nowart made his breakthrough and participated in exhibitions in various galleries in Paris, New York, Saint Petersburg and Brussels.

With his works he mainly focuses on people: celebrities and greats that he admires, including Vincent van Gogh, Nelson Mandela and various world-famous musicians. When creating his work, he is based on a number of elementary values that can also be found in the hip-hop scene: peace, love and harmony. His desire to have these elementary things reflected in his work is great and grand. The form in his work is leading: diversity, fragmentation, seduction. His work is executed in great detail, giving shape to the desire that lives deep within him and expresses his artistic and technical excellence.

As an artist, Noart identifies with Van Gogh's life, work and living environment. In 1887, near Paris, on the banks of the Seine, Van Gogh recorded the beginnings of industrialization on canvas. Now, a century after Vincent van Gogh's death, he has paid tribute to this artist by depicting 130 variations on Van Gogh's moods. 67555109
